Respecting Your Privacy
Sinapse recognises the importance of protecting the privacy of information we collect from visitors to our Web sites. To this end, we are committed to using our best efforts to respect our visitors’ privacy in line with relevant legislation (Privacy Act 1988). Sinapse utilises appropriate technical and organisational measures, in addition to reasonable steps to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, loss or destruction.
While the security of information in transit over the Internet cannot be assured, our privacy practices are designed to give visitors choices and control over personally identifiable information. Information we receive is assured to be compatible with the purposes for which it has been collected. Sinapse Pty Ltd respects the privacy of its users and is committed to providing its clients with a high level of customer service. The Company is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, which sets out a number of principles concerning the privacy of individuals.
Collection of Personal Information
There are many aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information; however, for access to Sinapse Pty Ltd customer support features, users may be required to submit personally identifiable information. This may include but is not limited to a name, email address, unique username and password, or the provision of sensitive information, such as in the recovery of a lost password.
Sharing of Personal Information
Sinapse may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries, processing transactions or customer freight shipping. Those companies will
be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service.
Such parties are required to implement measures to protect PII to the satisfaction of Sinapse Pty Ltd. Sinapse takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of personal information. Sinapse recognises its responsibility for the integrity of the data chain.
Use of Personal Information
For each visitor to reach the site, we may collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used solely internally for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalised content to users while at this Site.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, only these new purposes will be utilised; data collected from the time of the policy change moving forward will adhere to our updated practices. In line with any updated practices, revision of the privacy policy will occur and will be advised to users.

Sinapse Pty Ltd reserves the right to make amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time; such amendments will be advised to users.
Accessing Personal Information
The owner of personal information has a right to access, change or correct the information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. This can be done so by using one of the methods outlined under “Contacting us” below. The request may be required to be put in writing for security reasons.
